Daniel Farke Norwich sacked after winning first game against Brentford.

Daniel Farke manager of Norwich and the team has been removed from the position. Despite having only picked up his first Premier League win of the season, this season came from playing against Brentford on Saturday night.

Before they beat Thomas Frank’s side 2-1 with goals from Mathias Norman and Timu Pukki, they were unbeaten in over 20 games in the country’s top league. That is, since the 2019/20 season that led to relegation back to the Championship,

although the German has finally managed to collect three points of the season. But that wasn’t enough to keep him in the role and had to end his four-and-a-half years at Carrow Road.

“To continually demand the best for our football club. The decision was not easy,” Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber said in a statement.

“I know Daniel and his team are determined to achieve this level. But we feel now is the right time for a change to give ourselves the best chance of maintaining our status as a Premier League team.

” Everyone at Norwich City should thank Daniel. And his team forever for the important role they played in helping us win the Championship twice.”

“Daniel and his team are always welcome back here. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of them for their hard work and wish them the best of luck in the future.”

“The important thing is that we are now looking forward to it. With 27 games left and a long way to go.”
