Gary O’Driscoll, Manchester United ‘s head of sports medicine, and senior first-team doctor Jim Moxon have left the club on Tuesday.

O’Driscoll has left United’s medical department after just 18 months in the role. While Moxon has also left the club after two years to seek a new opportunity. However, a
club source has suggested the departures were coincidental and unrelated to the latest round of 200 job cuts.
O’Driscoll’s departure comes as a surprise after joining United from Arsenal, where he spent 14 years, in September 2023. He has been described as เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง “one of the most experienced and respected leaders in sports medicine”.
The source said he had decided now was the right time to step down. Having driven significant changes to the medical department and laid the foundations for future improvements.
They said O’Driscoll and Moxon’s departures were not a result of United suffering more than 60 injuries last season.
This includes the current team situation where head coach Ruben Amorim has lost 10 first-team players to injuries this season. And has not been able to find replacement players in the past.
It is understood that both medical staff will continue to serve the team during the transition period to ensure that there is no disruption to medical assistance for the players. While Manchester United begin the search for replacement personnel.
